Our Emblem:
The emblem for the United Methodist Women symbolizes our continuous growth and renewal. It contains the cross and flame which symbolizes the Holy Spirit. The cross and flame dates back to the days of Christ and Pentecost. Each evokes images of sacrifice, witness, and service. The shape of the emblem is also symbolic fluid and free flowing, which suggests change and mobility. As has been our heritage - The United Methodist Women has been at the forefront of movements for a change. The cross, flame and the individual with her abilities and opportunity are all a part of the 20th Century UNITED METHODIST WOMEN.
