We Love Our Children!
Our hope for all of our children at this church is that they will know that they are loved and valued by God and by our church family. As a part of this, we try to make this a place of learning where everyone, regardless of age, will make meaning of life experiences in the light of our faith. Making meaning of individual life then allows people to reach beyond themselves to care for and serve others. Worship is a central part of all we do as a church, and we welcome persons of all ages. Worship education is a part of our curriculum here, but we know that children also learn by doing, so we encourage worship attendance from birth.

Classes for Kids
At 10:15 AM each Sunday, we have great classes for our children from about age three and older. Note the word "about"! We include our kids when they are ready at the levels they need, and consider the needs of each child. The preschool - primary/ elementary classes meet in the parsonage and include crafts, singing, stories and more. The Junior High/Senior High Class (MYF: Methodist Young Fellowship) meets in the church balcony, also at 10:15.

Music takes about one fourth of our time and includes age-appropriate gospel music. In class time, kids study the scripture lessons. During the 9:00 worship service, we also provide children's time so that our entire family can enjoy worship. Our primary focus this year is on being at church together.
