NOTES from the Pastor
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our united Methodist Church, troughout this country changes pastoral appointments during the month of July. Changing
pastoral appintments is a time of new beginnings. For the pastor, it is a time of meeting a new congregation and new
individuals with different thoughts, feelings and idiosyncrasies; it is time of beginning life anew in a community, and
environment;it is a time beginning to live in a new house; it is time of beginning to relate to new neighbors. For the
congregation, it is a time getting to know their new pastor; it is settling into new worship, preaching and management
styles. For both pastor and congregation, it is the beginning of a new journey together in which there will be the
forging of new relationships. It is always a time of new opportunities, new hopes, new benefits from new relationship,
all of us as individuals, pastor and parishioner, need to approach all that will be attempted with opened minds and
willing hearts. Openly and lovingly, we will need to listen to and respect each other's council and advice. In faith,
pwe will need to be ready to go where we belive God, through God's Spirit, is leading us.
With much anticipation, I look forward to listening, learning and understanding from you the dynamics, and realities
of our congregation here at Wesley and the community of Frammingham.I belive that with God's guidance and our willingness.
God will use us mightily, in this little part of his vineyard, to save souls for his kingdom.
  I look forward to
meeting you, getting to know you and serving you. In closing, may I remind of the hymn, "This is the day of New Beginnings,"
by Brian Wren.
This is the day of new beginnings, time to remember and move on,
time to belive what love is beginning, laying to rest the pain of the past.
For by the life and death of Jesus, God's mighty Spirit, nowas then.
can make for us a world of difference, as faith and hope are born again.
Then let us, with the Spirit's daring, step from the past and leave behind
our disappointments. guilt, and grieving, seeking new paths, and sure to find.
Christ is alive, and goes before us, to show and share whet love can do.
This is the day of new beginnings; our God is making all things new.

May God bless our journeying together and may the fruits of our labors grow into a mighty harvest for God.
