The Sanctuary

Welcome to the Sanctuary

Often when Christ needed to rest, to gather his thoughts, to teach his followers , or to speak privately with the Father, He would withdraw to a quiet secluded spot. A spot away from the crowds and the demands of his ministry. Here he could refresh himself physically and more importantly spiritually.

Each of us needs to get away from the demands of our daily routine and spend time in quiet meditation and communion with God. It is in this spirit that this page was created.

Here you can share your prayers with us and In the area called Food For Thought you will find short thought provoking pieces for your consideration. We hope you enjoy them.

Feel free to visit often, to share your prayers, to meditate, and to share your thoughts via email with us.

Prayer

Prayer is an important part of our Christian lives. The Bible tells us in many places and in many ways that we are to pray without ceasing, and that we are to pray for all our needs. Prayer is our primary method of communication with The Father. We urge you to make Prayer a regular part of your day. Never underestimate the power of prayer.

Our prayer for you is that God will bless your life, and that you will find fulfillment in His service.

Food For Thought

Devotional Time With God

Have you ever felt that the world was closing in on you. Does it seem that lifemoves by too quickly, that the demands of our modern world are too many?

Why not set aside a period of time before the start of each day to spend a while in Prayer, meditation, and perhaps for some short devotional readings or Bible Study? You may be surprised at how much easier the day's events will seem after this daily pause for spiritual refreshment.

Prayer Requests

At Wrights many members of our congregation pray regulary for those on our prayer lists. In addition we have contacts with many area prayer chains. If there is some need or some problem in your life or that of someone you know please don't hesitate to send us your prayer request. We will be happy to include you in our prayer list. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
