United Methodist Women is the official Women’s Organization of the United Methodist Church.

We work to:

• build a supportive community among women;

• to be an advocate for the oppressed with special emphasis on the needs of women and children;

• and to engage in activities that nurture growth in the Christian faith, mission education, and Christian social involvement.

As a part of that supportive community, the officers of the Western Reserve District United Methodist Women are here to be a connection point and to help each local unit. We encourage you to contact us with any questions, concerns, news or ideas from your unit. We are excited about what God has in store for our District, and we invite you to become an active part of the many and varied opportunities United Methodist Women offers including:

OUR PURPOSE:

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
