Sunday School
Every week, Sunday School classes are available for all ages at 9:00 AM (immediately before worship).
Bible Warriors
Children in the 3rd through 6th grades are invited to join Bible Warriors, a group that meets to learn to study and use the Bible. This group progresses from the basics of finding chapters and verses in the Bible through learning the important stories throughout the Bible. The Bible Warriors also play games, have activities, take fieldtrips and even go on retreats. The group meets on the first and third Sundays of each month, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
Men's Fellowship
We have a men's breakfast and fellowship that meets the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 AM. There are opportunities for leading devotionals, giving support and encouragement, and (of course) showing off any cooking skills. We certainly have a good time in our Lord.
Women's Bible Study
A women's Bible study group meets in the fall and spring on Monday evenings. We have been using study books and videos by Beth Moore. Our goal is to reach and disciple women for Jesus Christ, to grow in our personal commitment to Him, and to share our love for Him with our families and community.
United Methodist Women
Woodside has an active United Methodist Women (UMW) group dedicated to missions.
There is a UMW general meeting the second Thursday of each month alternating one month in the morning at 9:30, and the next month at 7 p.m.
We also have three circles which meet monthly: one in the morning, an afternoon circle, and an evening circle. A fourth circle meets irregularly.
We support local and global missions through our fundraising events. For additional information please call the church office.
