Oregon-Idaho United Methodist Church   -links and information about the United Methodist Church in the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference. (Not currently up to date.)

   General Board of Global Ministries   -  The primary Mission agency of the UMC, this site has many resources.

Holy Boldness Urban Initiative  -  Information about the urban ministry initiative of the United Methodist Church.

Board of Discipleship   -  The evangelism and outreach organization of the denomination.

Board of Church & Society   -  This board, strategically located next to the Supreme Court building in Washington, DC, is charged with leading the church in applying the Gospel to social and justice issues.

General Commission on Christian Unity & Interreligious Concerns   - This commission is charged with keeping the focus of the church on Christian Unity.

Search Institute (Building Assets in Children & Youth)   -  The Search Institute is an excellent resource in support of local efforts on behalf of children.

Children's Defence Fund  (Advocacy on behalf of Children)   -  The Children's Defence Fund is a great resource for combininb efforts on behalf of children.

Stand for Children (Grass Roots Organizing for Children)   -  Beginning with the national "Stand for Children" event in Washington, DC several years ago, the movement is now focused upon grass roots organizing.

The Kid's Campaign  (connecting people around children's issues) -  A great source for practical ideas.

The Oregon Holocaust Resource Center   -  The center, under the auspices of Pacific University, provides educational resources, sponsors special events, and advocates for tolerance.

Portland-Multnomah Progress Board   -  The Progress Board tracks the progress being made toward achieving various governmental benchmarks.  Great source for up-to-date data.
