4 Word 05 starts with a BIG concert on Friday night by Big Daddy Weave!
We are fortunate to get this well known group and it should be a fantastic concert. There will be many great workshops for all tastes and fun activities throughout the weekend. There will be 2 wonderful Bishops with us too.
Bishop Violet Fisher and Bishop Susan Morrison will be the Key Note Preachers at 4 Word 05 on April 22-24, 2005! This Gathering will take the place of the usual WNY Spring Gathering.
4 Word 05 is a Youth Gathering for United Methodist Youth from all over New York State and Vermont and parts of Pennsylvania!

THOUGHTS ON THE THEME
Real love… No lines… No limits.
It makes me a little bit sad to see how loosely our society used the word 'love.' It appears all over TV and advertisements: "Try this shaving cream! You'll LOVE it!" It's all over the radio: "Love stinks…" etc. But when the secular world uses the word 'love,' is that really what they mean?
The Bible tells us that real love is Christ's sacrifice on the cross for us, and so, do you honestly LOVE your shaving cream? Your boyfriend/girlfriend of a week? Or maybe the better question is, would you lay down your life for your shaving cream? The Bible also tells us in 1 John 4:8 that God is love, so how can a secular world even imagine using the word 'love' if they do not know God?
The world puts up lines and limitations around their "love." "You should only love people who act a certain way or wear the latest trends." But God's love for us--Real LOVE--has no limits, lines or boundaries!
He sent his own son to die in our place, which crossed every line and limitation that the world put up. God's love is infinite, unconditional, and always available for us to receive; unlike the world's "love."
So accept God's perfect love for you--no lines, and no limits! By Beth Grinnell
