The Rev. Dann Houghton is a native of Milwaukie, Oregon. He is a 1973 graduate of Bellevue University and holds an MDiv. from United Theological Seminary, 1987. Dann is devoted to small churches and to chaplaincy with firefighters, emergency medical personnel, police, and other emergency responders. He has served churches in Kuna, Idaho, Bay City, Oregon, and Wendell-Hagerman, Idaho. He is a member of the Association of Fire Chaplains, the Wendell Volunteer Fire Department, and the Wendell Quick Response Unit.

Dann, and his wife Fay, are the parents of two daughters, Dannielle and Libbi. Dannielle is married and living in Oregon. Libbi is a student at Wendell Middle School. Dann, Fay and Libbi live in Wendell with their black lab, Jakee.
