1876-1877 A series of revival meetings called Prairie Mission
Feb. 15,1877 Prairie Mission joined the Methodist Protestant Conference
1892 First church completed on the NW corner of M-25 and Garner Road. Name changed to Prairie Circuit with Hickory Island and Tuttleville joining Wisner.
1927 Moved to a Baptist church not being used at Wisner. Bought it soon after.   Tore down portion of parsonage and used it as a dining room and kitchen for the church.
April 4, 1951 Merger of Wisner and Hickory Island
May 5,1951 Moved Hickory Island building to Wisner Church building, forming an L, known as Prairie Methodist Church
Sept. 9,1951 Cornerstone uniting the two buildings
June 29, 1952 Dedicated and named Wisner United Methodist Church
Feb. 7,1960 New parsonage dedicated
Oct. 27,1968 Cornerstone for new sanctuary, built north side of old structure
March 23,1969 Consecration service for new sanctuary
Oct.1976 Celebration of our church centennial
