Sunday School Classes

     CHILDREN

Ages 4 through 5th grade meet in the West Fellowship Hall for LIVE B.I.G. Curriculum.  Each unit last 4 weeks long.  Each 4 weeks there is a main theme with a different Bible Story each week that fits that theme.  They start with the Gathering and music.  Then they travel to their classroom for the lesson, DVD, and activities.

YOUTH


MIDDLE SCHOOL –
GRADES 6TH THROUGH 8TH
They are using the LIVING B.I.G. Curriculum.  It is youth coming to know the love of God through Jesus.  It is music, art, laughter, discussion, entertainment, games, Bible stories, worship, prayer and much more.

SENIOR HIGH -
9TH THROUGH 12 GRADES
They will be learning more about who Jesus is, starting at Creation, how he fits into their daily lives, and how to develop a personal relationship with Him.  They will also be reviewing “Do Hard Things” a book written by teens for teens.  This book submits that a growing movement of young people are rebelling against the low expectations of today’s culture by choosing to ‘do hard things’ for the Glory of God!

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

CURRENT EVENTS CLASS
They discuss any issue they choose that’s making news that they have read or heard.  They attempt to connect these deliberations with the positions of the United Methodist Church, and discuss the implications for what they mean for them individually as Christians.

SOURCES OF STRENGTH CLASS –
They will be using David Jeremiah’s book, “Song of Life:  Back to the Basics of Authentic Christianity” as their study this fall.  It addresses the question “How does the world recognize us as God’s ambassadors?”  It is a biblical overview of what believing in Jesus does in a person’s life and provides a message for today’s church.

SEEKERS 
They are going to finish up the James Moore’s book,, “There’s a Hole in Your Soul Only God Can Fill” before going on to their next book to study.

SMALL GROUP CLASSES –
several 2-8 week classes will be offered during the year on different World Religions, John Wesley, etc, and short term Bible Classes.
You are welcome to attend any or all of these classes.

Last Tuesday of every month we will have a potluck at 11:00 am.

BIBLE WITH BOB - TIME AND DAY CHANGE!!!
Every Tuesday morning at 11:00 am, EXCEPT Potluck day, then Bible Study will be at NOON.  This fall they began with exploring what the Scriptures say about social issues we have today and have open discussions, NOT to try to change people’s minds. 
It will be repeated on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. 

While Windsor’s Coffee Corner is geared toward our Senior Citizens, anyone is welcome to attend at any time.
