BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOPPING INCREASES NEED FOR FOOD PANTRY

August and September find families spending money on back-to-school clothes and supplies.  This means less money for food, d many families turn to the Emergency Food  Pantry for help.. This has caused the Pantry supplies to decrease.  Windsor United Methodist Church donated 36  food items in July, which now brings the total this year to 435. This is in addition to the 977 items received from Boy Scout Troup 46 earllier this year.

Following are some suggestions for donating food items.

Peanut Butter Soups
Spaghetti Sauce (Canned)          Rice
Tomato Sauce
Tuna
Macaroni/Spaghetti Crackers
Canned Vegetables/Beans Noodles
Instant Potatoes
Gelatin
Canned Meat Infant Formula
Fruit/Vegetable Juices
Diapers
Packaged Dinners (Helpers,
  etc.)
Macaroni & Cheese Dinners
Canned meats (Chili,Stew
  Chef Boyardee, etc.)
Canned Fruit (including
  Applesauce)

Grocery carts are still available at the Church for you to deposit your items.  Money donations are also welcomed.  Make your check out to Windsor United Methodist Church and designate the funds for the Emergency Food Pantry.

Thank You.
