WILSON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Benefit Concert at Wilson UMC

When: Sunday, October 19, 6:30 pm
Where: Wilson UMC Celebration Space
Who: Rev. Steve Ernshaw, pastor at Fountain UMC, and his daughter Rev. Emily Neely, associate pastor at First UMC in Canon City

Rev. Steve Ernshaw has participated in mission trips to Guatemala and will present a concert with his daughter Emily to benefit the ongoing work that he has been a part of in Guatemala. They will be promoting the upcoming mission trip that Steve is leading to project Chacocente in Mesaya, Nicaragua. Project Chacocente is working steadily toward the ambitious goal of helping families escape the poverty that has for generations kept them living at and scavenging their meager existence from the Managua City Landfill. A short slide presentation will be a part of the concert and people will have the opportunity to support this amazing expression of God’s love in action with a free will offering, taken to benefit Project Chacocente. Come join us for an enjoyable evening. Bring your family and friends!
