1st Annual Harvest Festival
Exhibitor Information
September 27th, 9:00 to 4:00 PM
Reminiscent of the old time New England fairs, we will feature many juried crafters, independent home businesses and tons of great food. The festival will be held outside, with plenty of free parking and free admission.

If you would like to participate in this years Festival, please read this entire document carefully and submit your completed application and fee no later than September 15th, 2008.
Craft
Jury Standards and Instructions
All craft products shown and offered at the Harvest
Festival must be the handmade products of the exhibitor. If you have questions about a
specific craft or artistic applications, please email us with questions and
digital photos, at wumcfair@gmail.com.
To apply for the festival and submit your work to the
jury:
1.
Read the crafter’s application and instructions,
and complete and sign the application form.
2.
On the application form, select one of these three
alternative means for jurying your work:

an on-line jury
Our jury will meet on a biweekly basis, and all entries
will be replied to within 15 days of receipt.
To insure the quality of the show, we reserve the right
to reject applications and/or ask vendors to remove merchandise that is
obviously not in keeping with our jury and show policy.
Entries post-marked after the deadline will not be
accepted. We appreciate the
commitment made by early registrants and choice of
placement on the grounds is solely on a first register, first placed basis.
Show
Information
The
first annual Harvest Festival will
be held on Saturday, September 27th 2008. The venue is the churchyard, located
on Route 62 in

Set up may begin at 6 a.m., and parking is
available in the church lot.
·
Power is not available in booths, and all
exhibitors must provide their own tents, tables, fixtures, etc.
·
Limited space under our tent is available and will
be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
·
Handicapped and standard restrooms are located
inside the church.
·
Food is served at all times, and coffee and donuts
are provided free to all exhibitors until 10 a.m.
·
WUMC assumes no liability for any property or goods of
the vendor. The vendor will hold
harmless WUMC for any personal liability.
·
WUMC reserves the right to have inappropriate, misrepresented, or flea
market type items removed from the Fair. This
event is for handmade or new merchandise only. Our Youth Group will be hosting a
white elephant table at the fair.
·
WUMC is providing all the food that will be for sale including baked
goods. Vendor product cannot be in conflict with these sales.
·
It is the vendor’s responsibility for all taxes and license.
·
Vendors must keep their spaces set up for the entire Fair.
No early breakdown.
·
Vendors must agree to donate an item or items from their inventory, with
a value of least $15.00, to the
Silent Auction or Sweet Surprise table being run by the WUMW.
Registration
Please
return a completed the application form with your jury information, and your
check or money order to WUMW. By your submission, you acknowledge you have read
this document and the application and agree to abide by all show requirements.
If you have any special requests or comments, please note them on your
application form. We will try to meet your requests but we cannot guarantee that
we can accommodate them. When your application is accepted, we will send you
your acceptance notice by return mail. Bring this with you on September 27th and
present it to the show staff at the church. You will receive an information
packet and be shown to your designated numbered booth space. You may drive to
your booth space, and unload there. All vehicles must be off the churchyard and
no later than 8:30 a.m.
