Meet Our Pastor
She returned to Ohio and founded Mercy Missions International. This ministry ignited her desire to resume her passion and ministry to Abused women and children. She started emotional healing groups,, retreats, and empowerment training in leadership and obtained her Doctor of Ministry degree at Ashland theological Seminary in 2003. She has served God in various capacities; intercessor, evangelist, missionary to foreign countries (Africa, China, Australia, Philippines, and West Indies), associate pastor, teacher, women's ministry, prayer cell leader, short term missions leader, mentor, retreat and seminar facilitator, pastoral counselor, chaplain and senior pastor. She received honor through Empire Who's Who Among Executives and Professional Women for 2006/2007. She is an encourager of the faith in God. Dr. Hand is presently a full time chaplain for The City Mission in Cleveland. She is a spiritual leader and She is the wife of Reverend Willie Hand of 23 years. They have three children: James, (twins) Sherita and Talia and six grandchildren. Reverend Hand serves with Dr. Hand at Willson UMC. Dr. Hand is ecumenical in her approach to ministry. She believes that God can use anyone regardless of their race, ethnicity, or denomination as long as Jesus Christ is the center.
