MISSIONS

Two cents for Hunger-- this is a ministry to persons in the community that are unable to qualify for aid through federal, state, or county social services and human services. Food certificates at a nearby Kroger's store give emergency assistance for families who find themselves in catastrophic position or simply need a helping hand until the next paycheck.



LEADS FOOD PANTRY-- White Chapel church collects can goods and supplies for the local food pantry in the country every Sunday. These supplies are taken as accumulated to Buckeye Lake station of the LEADS.



Christmas Family-- Every year the church adopts a local family and provides food and gifts as well as a Christmas tree and decorations if needed for that family.



Orphans of Gutamala--Twice a year the church raises money for a mission of celebration for the christian Orphanages of Gutamala. The funds raised provide for a Communal Birthday Celebration including Pizza,cake, and soft drinks for all the children in three orphanages and at Christmas provides a Christmas gift of dollars to each of the children.



Supply school materials -- The church adopts a classroom in the public education system and provides classroom supplies for children who have need of assistance. We also provide gloves and winter coats as needed.
