Our church is involved in a variety of
outreach programs including:
- Annual financial support for:
- - The United Methodist Children's Home in Decatur, GA.
- Wesley Woods (a residential facility for older adults)
- Camp Glisson (a UM youth camp in Dahlonega, GA)

- Food Pantry
- "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat..." (Matthew
25:35) We actively seek to spread the love of Christ by helping those who may find
themselves in difficult times. Our food pantry is stocked with staple food items and
personal care item. It is open to anyone in need. Our Young Adult Sunday School class has
successfully undertaken the project of stocking our food pantry in order that we might be
of assistance to persons in our community.

- Local Missions
- "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:40) We have a heart for missions at White
UMC. In an effort to fulfill these words of Jesus, we attempt to help those of our
community, as well as those passing through, if they should find themselves in the midst
of a difficult financial situation. Through our own limited resources and those of other
area agencies and institutions, we seek to provide temporary assistance to those in need.
