The West End United Methodist Church is a community of faith where people actively respond to God's creative and redeeming presence in Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through worship, education, and the caring for others.

It is the function of this church to minister to the needs of persons in the surrounding area; to provide appropriate training and nurture to all age groups, cultural groups, and groups with handicapping conditions; to cooperate in ministry with other churches; to participate in the varying mission areas of the Church; and to win new persons for Christ.
