I am married to Herman J. Dayries Sr. I am the mother of four children and grandmother of eight grandsons. I retired from the Social Security Administration as a Supervisor of the Supplemental Security Income Program after working thirty three years. I served as chairperson in many work areas of the United Methodist Church
I received my calling into the ministry while attending Shaw Temple United Methodist Church. I received my license to preach in June 2002 and I became an Associate Pastor at Mount Zion United in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been continuing to take pastoral courses at Millsap College in Jackson, Miss. I was assigned on June 2007 to Wesley United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge as an Associate Pastor.
