OUR
VISION ~ A PERMANENT HOME FOR KAMPAR WESLEY
The
Wesley Methodist Church Kampar has
entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Council of Education of
the Methodist Church in Malaysia to allow the local congregation to build a
multi-purpose centre at 13 Kuala Dipang. The Church Building Project which
is expected to cost RM850,000 (US$224,000) was adopted as the Conference
Project at the 26th session of the Trinity Annual Conference in
2002. As at December 31, 2002, the total collection has come to
RM324,350.46 (US$85,355). For 2003, the building fund committee hopes to
share our vision by going to the Methodist churches in order to raise
another RM250,000 (US$65,800) in order to be in the position for the
commencement of the building by the end of the year. We hope to have this centre ready to
enable the wider development of ministries in anticipation of the
establishment of the University TAR in Kampar with their 13,000 students
and support staff. We appeal for your
