Sabrina & Trixie seek Housing

As many of you know, Terry Hauck’s job has taken him to Bellingham. I am taking classes through CWU, offered at YVCC, in education, and want to complete my degree before relocating. We are selling our house here in Yakima now, so we can purchase one in Bellingham, which means I will need a place to stay (with my little dog, Trixie) here while I continue my schooling. Terry comes back here on weekends, so we can have some time together. If you have a room I could rent, or know someone who does, please let me know. We have accepted an offer on our house, and expect the sale to be completed this month.

I can be reached at: 833-3669. Thank you for considering my request.

GREEN TIP...USE OLIVE OIL

Olive oil is a fruit oil made from the crushing and then subsequent pressing of olives. Extra virgin oil, derived from the first pressing of the olives, has the most delicate flavor and most antioxidant benefits. Choose organic to decrease pesticide exposure risks. A Greek study found that organic olive groves cause fewer CO2 emissions than conventional ones.

Substituting olive oil, a monounsaturated fat, for saturated fats or polyunsaturated fats, has numerous health benefits and is known for its skin-beautifying attributes.

For maximum benefits, store the olive oil in non-reactive dark plastic or metal containers. Buy olive oil in smaller containers and store in the dark. Leaving it out on your kitchen counter or dining room table will lessen its health-giving properties.
