Rev. Michael Bingham- "Coming Home"
Ruth 1:1-6, 22 (New International Version)
1 In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land,
and a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons,
went to live for a while in the country of Moab. 2 The man's name was
Elimelech, his wife's name Naomi, and the names of his two sons were
Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. And they
went to Moab and lived there.
3 Now Elimelech, Naomi's husband, died, and she was left with her two
sons. 4 They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth.
After they had lived there about ten years, 5 both Mahlon and Kilion
also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband.
6 When she heard in Moab that the LORD had come to the aid of his
people by providing food for them, Naomi and her daughters-in-law
prepared to return home from there.
22 So Naomi returned from Moab accompanied by Ruth the Moabitess, her
daughter-in-law, arriving in Bethlehem as the barley harvest was
beginning.

Questions:
Most Important - We want your experience with Wesley Memorial to be an
enjoyable, inviting and lasting one. We are here for you. We want to
provide a church family that allows you to become closer to God and
helps you live a Christ-filled life.
Where is the Nursery? - It is on the first floor of the Education
Building (follow breeze-way at front of church). As you enter the door
you will be facing an elevator. The nursery is the second door on the
right. The nursery opens at 9:45 a.m.
Where do I park? Park along Heyward Street or Queen Street. Both
sides can be used and you should find ample space. Handicap spaces are
directly in front of the sanctuary on the Heyward Street side and on
the west side on Queen Street.
Will greeters or others be on hand to help me? Greeters will greet
you when you enter, provide you with a worship program that tells
everything that is happening in the service. They will give you an
Order of Worship.
What Should I wear? We know you might be worried
about wearing the right thing when you come to church; we invite you to
come as you are. Whether you are more comfortable in jeans and a
t-shirt, polo and khakis, or a suit and tie, you'll fit right in at
Wesley Memorial. The most common form of dress could be best described
as “casual.”
Can I meet the Pastor? The Pastor would love to
meet you! Pastor Bingham and his wife, Lucie, are available in the
foyer after worship every Sunday morning to personally greet our guests
and they ask that you take a moment to stop and say hello. If you would
like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church
office 803-771-4540 to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call.
