Children from South Ward School and
several other schools of south Longview, come to Terrific Tuesday to
spend time with adults who love them and encourage them to be the best
they can be. The staff of Terrific Tuesday want the children
to have a variety of experiences in the activitiy centers and by going on
field trips. Kindness, cooperation and respect are principles
which the Terrific Tuesday programs seek to instill in the children who attend. |

Children are divided by age groups and rotaqte among
various centers
after they have had refreshments. The centers are as

Discipline
Kindness, cooperation and respect are principles we want to instill in the
children who attend Terrific Tuesday. We seek
to help them learn to become the people God wants them to be. We want
to provide an environment in which the children
are praised and rewarded for exhibited these Christian primciples. Each
leader attempts to provide a save and comfortable
setting and make every effort to assure students that they are in a place
of love and peace.
Would you like to help?
The staff is a group of Christian volunteers who love
children and want to participate
in the enrichment of the lives of at-risk kids. While many of
the volunteers are members
of Wesley McCabe UMC, a large percentage of the volunteers are members of
other
denominations. They demonstrate God's love through their service to
the children of
Terrrific Tuesday. |
