Wesley House is the United Methodist Campus Ministry at Northern Michigan University. It’s a place (811 W Fair—yellow house across from Jamrich”), but more than that—it’s a community. A place to meet people and make friends, a place to hang out and do fun things, a place to ask important questions and look for answers together, a group that tries to live by the teaching of Jesus.
Our basic activity is Sunday night supper—at the house. It’s free, provided either by Wesley House or by one of the local United Methodist Churches or members. There’s usually some kind of devotions following. For other activities through the week—check This Week at Wesley.
Margie West is the director/campus minister. Along with a Board of pastors and lay persons, she provides direction and programming. She’s a good listener. |
