When In Our Music God Is Glorified
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord!

Psalm 150 (KJV)
When in our music God is glorified,
and adoration leaves no room for pride
it is as though the whole creation cried "Alleluia!"

How often, making music, we have found
a new dimension in the world of sound,
as worship moved us to a more profound "Alleluia!"

So has the Church in litrugy and song,
in faith and love, through centuries of wrong
borne witness to the truth in every tongue, "Alleluia!"

Let every instrument be tuned for praise!
Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
And may God give us faith to sing always: "Alleluia!"
