* Congratulations to Brandon Powell & Gabby Dowell, both members of the B.C.H.S. Mock Trial team that recently won the statewide competition. Brandon is the grandson of Charlie and Elsie Powell, and Gabby is the daughter of Perry and Marcia Dowell.

* Around 40 people turned out for the March 6 concert by WKUs Jubilate singing group at the Irvington church. Thanks to leaderjacquis Haynes and the group for the inspiring presentation.

* Congratulations to Michael and Kandy Boblitt Parks, who were married on March 27. Michael is the son of Lloyd and Sandra Parks.

* In 1899, the Irvington, Webster, and Bewleyville Methodist Churches were first put together on a circuit. To commemorate that 100-year milestone, a committee has been formed to plan a celebration later in the summer. Tentative plans are for Rev. Emil McAdams to preach at a combined 11 am worship service at the Irvington church, with a meal and fellowship time to follow on the grounds. The former pastors of the three churches will also be invited. Watch this newsletter for more details later on.
