UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

PURPOSE

The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;  to develop a creative, supportive fellowship;  and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

COOKBOOKS

Reprints of the Bi-Centennial cookbooks are now available from the UMW members.  Cost is $7.00 each.

REGULAR MEETING
The regularly scheduled meetings are on the fourth monday of each month at the church at 7:30 PM For December this is Monday the 27th.

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
There will be a Holikay Luncheon at noon on Friday, December 10th at the church. Make your reservations with Marjorie Showerman by December 3rd. This is a free luncheon.

Lansing District Epiphany Breakfast
There will be an Epipany Breakfast on January 6th, 2000
at Grace UMC, 1900 Boston Blvd., Lansing, MI
(W of Martin Luther King Blvd. off Mt. Hope).
Cost: $6.00 (includes breakfast & program).
Registrations in the Bell Tower by December 28th deadline.

SARAH CIRCLE
The Sarah Circle meeting will be Tuesday, December 14th at 7:30 PM. It will be held at Carole Oesterle's. We will be making favors for the Stockbridge Nursing Home. All women are welcome to attend and join in the fun.
