A Journal of the
Webberville United Methodist Men
We meet each third Saturday of the month for breakfast and business. Each meeting is built around Social, Spiritual, and Service issues.
During the breakfast portion of the meeting, we enjoy a variety of hearty meals prepared by our own crew. This is followed be singing and a devotional message.
Then the business of the fellowship takes place and is a time of coordinating on-going activities, and a time to plan for what is to take place in the future.
Activities in which we had a part this year:
1. Preparing the meal for Mother/Daughter Banquet.
2. Serving a sunrise breakfast at Easter.
3. Sponsering a Work force from our
church to serve at the MSU
football games.
4. Donating $500 to the Conference Camp Endowment Program.
5. Organizing and attending a 24
hour retreat at Wesley Woods
Camp in February.
6. Providing support for camp scholarships.
7. Working with Troop 92 of Webberville
to help the newly
organized Boy
Scout program.
8. Attending Lansing Lugnut baseball
with 19 elementary students
in July.
9. Repairing our adopted cabin at Wesley Woods.
10. Building axles for PET Project.
11. Providing leadership for Men's day in the pulpet.
