Worship

Worship is the central component of Crossroad’s Ministry.  Worship services provide an opportunity to gather together regularly in God’s name.   Crossroads offers a worship service on Sunday mornings, at 9:30.  After the service, Sunday School and fellowship takes place at 10:30, with a very special, energetic “Fam Jam” at 11:00.  Childcare is provided.

Worship incorporates a number of components including:  Prayer, a children’s time, a Scripture reading, a message from our pastor, and music.  Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.  All are invited to participate in Communion, including children.

Lay members are invited to participate in worship as lay readers, ushers, greeters, music leaders, and a variety of other opportunities for special services.

Special services are offered throughout the year to celebrate special events in the Church calendar, such as Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.  Other services offered throughout the year provide opportunities to recognize youth, scouts, Sunday School Teachers and other groups.
