St. John's Organ

St. John's Chimes

Each Sunday before worship, Susan Carifio and Sylvia Missal play hymns on the chimes in our bell tower. A chime, in case you don't know, is a musical instrument consisting of set of large church bells, along with a means to play them. Many, like ours, have tuned bells. Our chimes were made by the Clinton H. Meneely Bell Company of Troy, NY, in 1900 and installed that same year. For technical information about our chimes, see the following external link on St. John's chimes. The Rebecca Missal referenced in the external link is Sylvia Missal's daughter.

Hope we'll see you soon at St. John's!
