United Methodist Men

Our Commitment:

As members of United Methodist Men, we commit ourselves to:

  • Seek daily Christ's way of life through prayer and Bible reading
  • Bear witness to this way in my daily work and all personal contacts through my words and actions
  • Engage in some definite Christian service by recognizing that we work in partnership with God in the stewardship of our life

United Methodist Men: Building Servant Leaders among men in the United Methodist Church. A UMM Servant Leader is committed to personal and spiritual growth in 3 areas:

  • Friend
  • Follower
  • Fisherman

The men at Washington Square United Methodist Church are engaged in the United Methodist Men Hunger Relief Advocate Program, Meals For Millions, which includes The Potato Project, Harvest Of Hope, and The Gleaning Network through the Society of St. Andrew Ministries.
