"Saying Thank You" Thanksgiving Eve November 21th.

Thank You to Bertha Warner and Gladys Knybel for the warmth from the pot belly stove.
Thank You for the church sign out front that reminds us of the upcoming services.
Thank You to Billy LeGeyt and the Barkhamsted VFD for providing illumination at the front steps.

Thank You to Louise Hayes for playing for an extra long hymn sing, while waiting for everyone to arrive.
Thank You to the choir from the North Canton Community UMC for their anthem.
Thank You to Pastor Chuck (Naugle) from NCCUMC for all he does for us.

With only the light from kerosene lanterns, (and your own flashlight if you remembered to bring one) worshipers listen to the Scriptures and special music.

Thank You to Reverend Bob Sorozan from West Granby UMC for assisting with the evening's service.
Thank You to Reverend Lynne Severance from Pleasant Valley UMC for her inspiring sermon, despite the road closure that delayed her arrival.
And Thank You to all the people who braved the less than ideal driving and road conditions to participate in worship.

"Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom." Luke 12:32 - August 12th.
On May 13th, after a cold winter, the faithful return for the First Sunday Vespers of 2007.

Our sign announces to all when the next service will be.   Pastor Chuck and a regular member confer, while others chat.

As today is Mother’s Day, Great Grandmother Bertha gets a hug.   You’re never too young to learn to pray.   A final prayer after communion.
