Ward’s
Chapel offers its young people an opportunity to sing a variety of types
of music, learn about the church and the role music plays, and have some
fun, too! Children 5 years old (AND in Kindergarten) through 6th
grade are welcome to join.
THE
BELLEPLATES ~
Ward’s
Chapel has purchased a two-octave set of belleplates and they have arrived!
Along with the plates, we purchased two bell tables, tabletop foam, and
10 standing music folders. Belleplates are metal plates with rubber
clappers that resemble, in sound, hand bells. They are lighter in
weight and do not require the use of gloves, thus rendering them more children/user
friendly.
New
members are always welcome to either of these groups or to the Sanctuary
Choir. If you are interested in singing, having great fun with a
good group of people, and working very hard towards some ambitious goals,
please contact the Choir Director, Linda Burgard, through the Church Office
