WELCOME TO WAPLES DAY SCHOOL!

Welcome to you and your child. This is the beginning of a great adventure. The time has come to leave home for part of each day to do new things, make new friends, learn more about the world outside the family, and live with large groups of people. The beginning of school is a most important milestone in the life of your child. Our desire is to make the change from home to school a happy, and successful transition. Our goal is to create an atmosphere in which your child feels safe, secure, and a little grown up. The Waples Day School program provides opportunities for a variety of experiences through which your child may grow spiritually, emotionally physically and mentally during his/her school year. In our school emphasis is placed on the whole needs of the individual child. There is an awarness of everyone's need for love, security, acceptance, and recognition. Your child will learn while he/she plays, as play is a child's work. He/she is helped to experience sucess at this particular level of maturity and is given many opportunities to learn and grow in activities new to his/her life experience.
