On Site: Mission groups in June, July, and August would be invited to use Wanakee's low and high ropes courses, boats and canoes, hiking trails, and swim facilities on Lake Pemigewasset.
Off Site: Wanakee is located in the heart of one of the best outdoor recreations areas in the world. The White Mountain National Forest is nearby. Day trip options include visits to "The Flume" in Franconia Notch, several scenic gondola or tram rides up mountains, "Polar Caves" in Plymouth, a scenic boat ride on Lake Winnipesaukee's Mt. Washington Sightseeing Cruises, or a trip up Mt. Washington on the auto road or the Cog Railway.
