Based on a stay of 6 days, the cost of this program is $150. per person, which includes meals, snacks, housing, and has a minimum of $40. going toward building materials. Any additional funds raised would go 100% for building materials.

If the Mission Team chooses to prepare its own meals and purchase its own food, the cost would be reduced to $110. per person.

Each additional day would be $25., with a minimum of $7. going toward building materials.

Eligibility: Projects are planned for both adult and youth groups. The ideal age for youth is grades 7 and up.

In May, June, and September, the capacity can double by using our Farmhouse for additional housing.

In July and August, two additional facilities called "yurts" are also available. Each has a capacity of 8 youth or 6 adults.

The Best Time to Come: At present, the best dates are June, July, and August. This is due mostly to weather considerations and the nature of outdoor work.

Child Care: If you have younger children, there are a number of summer camp opportunities available during the months of July and August. Wanakee United Methodist Center offers over 50 programs for youth of all ages, ranging in length from 2 to 6 days. These are residential, overnight programs taking place on the property adjacent to the mission site.
