Adult Sunday Study and Discussion meets from 9:00-9:45AM each Sunday in the Pastor's Study, with leadership on a rotational basis, and newcomers welcome.
Youth/Children's Sunday School each Sunday from 10:50-11:30AM. Children and youth start in congregational worship and exit to class after about twenty minutes. Present class is taught in a one-room-schoolhouse style. All children and youth are welcome. Mk Akpan leads Sunday School. A nursery for 0-3 year-olds, staffed largely by volunteers from Anaheim Vietnamese UMC but available to all, is open from 10:30 to noon on Sunday mornings.
Sanctuary Choir Rehearsals meet each Thursday from 7:30-8:30PM in the choir room. Newcomers are gladly welcomed, and no experience is needed. Laura Bell directs.
Bell Choir Rehearsals meet each Thursday 6:16-7:30PM in the choir room. Newcomers are welcome, and bell-ringing experience can be gained. Laura Bell directs.
The Men's Bible Study and Prayer group meets each Friday from 7-8:30AM at Spiro's Restaurant, at the corner of Orange and Brookhurst. Members of West Anaheim UMC and other churches of other denominations take part, and all are welcome.
Women's Bible Study and Prayer group meets each Friday at 8:00AM at member's homes with rotating leadership. Visitors are gladly welcomed.
United Methodist Women meet as announced in the Share the Spirit monthly newsletter. Shirley Hager and Sharon Ficus are co-presidents.
A Shepherding Group visits and maintains regular contact and support with WAUMC's shut-inmembers. Joan Belanger is the coordinator.
A Prayer Chain regularly passes along prayer requests and needs. Requests for prayer may be brought to the attention of coordinator Evelyn Carlberg or to the church office.
