Worship Services—Sundays “the 8:30” is a contemporary service with a casual feel. You will enjoy contemporary praise songs led by a Praise Team, drama, video, and a challenge relating God’s unchanging truth to today’s issues. For more about this unique worship experience, click here.
At 9:00, Sunday School classes are available for all ages. A discussion group meets to talk about the morning’s challenge.
At 10:00, experience a more traditional service with hymns, a Chancel choir, Biblical teaching, and praise. |

About Us Since 1851, when the Baubaugo Mission began holding services in a barn, this church has been a part of the Wakarusa community. Through the years, the church moved downtown into the heart of the community. Its buildings grew and changed, and but its message stayed the same—to be witnesses for Christ to the glory of God. |

Find Us Wakarusa United Methodist Church is not far away no matter where you are in Michiana. We are located just off State Road 19 about 15 miles south of Elkhart. We are 7 miles north of Nappanee and about 25 miles southeast of the South Bend/Mishawaka area.
Find us in Wakarusa at 309 South Elkhart street, just two block south of the light at downtown Wakarusa. (Turn west at the light at the intersection of State Road 19 and Waterford Street/County Road 40.)
