WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

REDISCOVERING THE POWER OF PRAYER & EVANGELISM
On May18 Dr. Frank Beard will lead a prayer seminar from 8:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ligonier United Methodist Church. Dr. Beard is a dynamic speaker who has led retreats, workshops, and revival meetings in the U.S. and internationally. Early registration (before April 21st) is $10. There is a flyer for the seminar on the bulletin board in the hallway behind the sanctuary. Please let Pastor Ed or Cathy Wesolek know if you would like to attend or learn more about this seminar.

SUMMER PRAYER PARTNERS
Would you like a prayer partner for the summer months? We’d like to match people who might not know each other well as prayer partners this summer. Whether you’re at home, at the lake, on vacation, at camp, or at sporting events, you can stay connected to church through prayer. Yellow postcards to sign up to participate can be found along with the prayer request cards in the pews. Place the cards in one of the baskets with yellow bows around the church.

DONATIONS FOR LOWER BEECH FORK THRIFT SHOP
The mission work team will be taking a load of clothing and household items  to Lower Beech Fork when they go down for the mission trip. Items should be placed in the room next to Ed’s office. Non-breakable items in bags or boxes are okay. Items should be at the church by Saturday, June 8.

It’s time to start thinking about summer camp and getting dates on the calendar.  To find out more about the United Methodist camps offered for children and youth, check out the Impact 2818 webpage.
