HOW TO BECOME SPIRITUALLY COMPLIANT WITH GOD'S WILL and
HOW TO BEGIN LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS
 
Admit you are a sinner in need of Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again to be your Savior.

Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD, that in Him alone is found salvation.

Call on the name of the LORD Jesus Christ asking Him to forgive you of all your sins and asking Him to save you.

Turn from all sin, invite Jesus Christ into your heart, accept His forgiveness, be baptized, and tell others of Jesus.

Read the Bible, pray, praise, and obey the LORD each day! Worship, fellowship, and serve regularly with other Christians in a church where Jesus Christ is preached as the one and only Savior of the world and where God's Word is honored as the final authority in regard to all matters in this life and eternity.

A PRAYER TO PRAY TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST:

(Please be assured that God will hear your prayer if you pray this prayer and mean it from your heart. A person can pray this prayer a hundred times and it will do no good if the person who is praying does not mean it. Yet, a person who in faith prays this prayer one time and means it, will be heard by the LORD God and, as a result, through the work of the Holy Spirit will be made alive in Jesus Christ, will become a new creation in Jesus Christ, will enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.)

Dear LORD God, I confess that I am spiritually bankrupt. I have no merit of my own to earn my salvation. I admit that I cannot save myself. But I do believe that Jesus Christ died for sinners, of whom I am one. By Your grace I turn away from all wrong. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I trust His precious blood shed on the cross as being sufficient to make atonement for my sins, to wash my sins as white as snow. I believe that Jesus Christ is my only hope of heaven. LORD Jesus Christ, please forgive me of my sins, cleanse my heart from all sin, and come and live within my life and reign in my heart as KING of kings and LORD of lords. The best I know how, I throw myself on Your mercy and ask You to save me. Help me to live for You, to read Your Word, to pray to You each day, to worship regularly with other Christians, and to crown You, my LORD Jesus Christ, as LORD of my life in all I do and say. Thank You for hearing my prayer, thank You for saving me, and thank You blessed Holy Spirit for giving me birth into the Kingdom of God, thank You for giving me the power to become a spiritual child of God through Jesus Christ, in Whose name alone is found salvation and in Whose name I pray. Amen.
