|
The responsibility of this ministry is:
- To help members of the congregation to respond to pressing social issues such as
making connections outside the Church and with the Church at all levels, with particular
emphasis on issues that affect the community at large, as followers of Christ advocating
for and acting in response to the needs of the people in God's world.
- To promote racial and ethnic awareness with the UMC and to recommend to the Church
Council program opportunities for worship, fellowship, witness, study, nurture, and service
with persons, groups, and congregations across racial and ethnic lines.
