Village Methodist Pre-School is offered as a part of Village United Methodist Church's ministry to the community.

The school is owned and operated by the United Methodist Church and is accredited by the United Methodist Association of Pre-Schools and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

The school is affiliated with Family Center of Broward County, is licenced by the Broward County Division of Social Services (License #45277) and is a Gold Seal School in Broward County and in the State of Florida.

Village Methodist Pre-School does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, national origin, color, sex, or handicap. All children are entitled to all rights, priveleges, programs, and activities available at the school. We do not hire or assign staff on the basis of thier religion, race, national origin, sex, or handicap of the individuals they are to serve.

The school believes in a total "open door" policy in which the parents are invited to visit, call, or participate in the school's program at any time.

Age Appropriate Learning Activities

The Preschool curriculum at Village Methodist Pre-School encourages children to be involved in the learning process. The children experience a variety of hands-on activities and materials while pursuing their interest in the context of life in the community and world.

This program actively promotes the education of the total child through experiences to meet their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and language development.
