Vernon United Methodist Church Worship and Christian Education

Our worship experience takes place each Sunday morning at 11:00 am, generally an hour in length. We enjoy worship that is inspirational, scripturally centered and music enhanced with either vocal or bell choirs, piano or organ music. We further enjoy full congregational hymn singing from the United Methodist Hymnal.

There are opportunities for everyone to participate in the worship experience is the Spirit moves. For example, you may wish to: light candles as an acolyte, usher, greet, read scripture, sing in the choir, play the instrument you played in high school as an offering of music, ring a bill in the choir, lead a prayer - and more. If you have a gift to give to God through worship - there is a chance at Vernon UMC for you to share that gift.

Christian education happens every moment you remember to bring God into your everyday life. We are always learning!
