Matters of Prayer, Thanksgiving & Celebrations:

· Blessing over our 40 Days of Community beginning today [Oct. 9 ~ Nov. 20] and over the small groups that begin to meet this week. Pray that God will develop a passion to get involved in active ministry in this community and that God would bless Ed Yahrmarkt & Mark Ismond as they co-direct this special church-wide campaign.

· Comfort for Ed Yahrmarkt's family in the death of his grandfather from injuries sustained during a car accident.

· Healing and encouragement for Pat VandenBerg facing heavy doses of radiation this week due to recent tests showing the cancer has spread into her hip.

· Healing for Chuck Antonopulos' father who was hospitalized again this week.

· Safety for Otto and Vivian Lind's grandson, David Wenkle, serving in Iraq.

· Healing for Deb Knauf and several others in the church family who have been ill lately.

· Strength & encouragement for Greg & Amy Stielstra and family during this transition of moving to Nashville, Tennessee and trying to sell their home here. [NOTE: Amy could use some strong help on Monday, Oct. 17 to move things from the attic. Please call her: 676-4050]
