UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
W e are getting ready for the new year. Our officers are attending a training session presented by the officers of the Rocky Mountain Conference. I am sure it will be very inspiring to us.
Our new officers are: President Darlene Croisant Vice-President Nawanna Finning Secretary Gene Duester Treasurer Margie Hedglin
Also, we would like for you to plan on attending the Rocky Mountain Conference Retreat in Estes Park in April, 2000.
We are in the process of working on our President’s Quilt.
Please plan to attend our February 16th meeting at 7:00 p.m. We are looking forward to a good year.

GROCERY CERTIFICATE SALES
T he purchasing power your congregation and friends have demonstrated in support of grocery certificate sales, has enabled your committee to repurchase (redeem) the remaining capital bonds that were issued in May and June 1999.
Your increasing support (purchases) of the grocery certificates for Safeway, King Soopers and Cub Foods (one coupon serves all 3) and equivalent Albertson’s "Community Partners" card have facilitated redeeming the bonds in 8 months when original estimates were 30 months. We have re-ordered in response to many requests for additional Albertson’s "Community Partners" cards.
Issue those to friends, family and neighbors who do not participate in any similar program. Cards are at no charge and cost the individual nothing more than handing the card to the cashier to credit the account. Finance Committee . |
