organization whose purpose is to know God, experience Jesus
Christ, develop a creative, supportive fellowship, support the
global ministries of the church.
The evening UMW Circle meets at 7:00 pm,
one Monday a month at members' homes.
The morning UMW Circle meets at 10:00 am, monthly on Thursday
mornings at members' homes.
Both circles welcome newcomers who are interested in christian
fellowship and mission involvement. |
United
Methodist Men
These men meet on the first Wednesday morning
of each month, focusing on faith in action. The group eats, laughs,
works, and shares their faith in Christ.
Also, this group assists the Trustees Committee with periodic
maintenance of the church buildings and grounds including painting,
grounds maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs. This effort
is a vital aspect of sound stewardship.
Come join them for
a good breakfast and great fellowship in a Christian atmosphere.

Senior
Ministry
We are proud to have a senior adult ministry,
Amigos del Valle, housed in our facility
on Spruce Street. It is important to us that senior adults receive
attention and care that will help them stay in their own homes
as long as safely possible. This ministry is offered, at no cost,
to anyone in a 20 mile radius of the church and provides a much
needed service to those in the valley. |
Choir
The adult/youth choir meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm and before
the second service on Sunday and they sing for the second service.
|
Sewciables
This group was started by the United Methodist Women as part of
a national quilt project called "Prayers and Squares."
The quilts are hand made and presented to newborns, as well as ill
children and adults.
The Sewciables have grown and now include members from other churches
and the community. They now work on all sorts of crafts, including
Protestant Prayer Brads. The group holds a community-wide Arts &
Crafts Fair in the fall and proceeds from Sewciables' sales go to
the purchase of quilt material and craft supplies. |
