We keep learning as adultsThere are increasingly many opportunities at UUMC for adults to continue learning and growing spiritually. Various study groups provide in-depth discussion of special interest topics and are a wonderful way to develop close relationships with fellow members. The Adult Forum presents information on a myriad of topics throughout the year. There are opportunities to learn how to be a better steward of God's creation. Finally, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from well-known speakers for our Palm Sunday Breakfast. We need to know what you think! At a recent meeting of the congregation, several people indicated a need for more personal spiritual growth opportunities. A small group of us are meeting to explore this issue. We would greatly appreciate your input as your response today is critical to our future work as a committee. Please take a moment to fill out this confidential survey as honestly as you can as an individual worshipper (member or visitor).

Adult ForumThe Adult Forum meets each Sunday during Fall, Winter and Spring at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We look at a variety of issues:
If persons are looking for a place to expand their horizons, test their understanding of faith, and share their concerns and faith, the Forum is a place to be. Ideas and faith are shared in an accepting environment, recognizing that each of us is on a spiritual journey with different experiences and understandings and beliefs. Creation StewardshipPeriodically through the year, we offer forums and discussion groups focusing on being better stewards of God's creation. In the summer, we offer a Summer In-Forum, an informal forum where we learn about being good stewards of God's creation. |
