- Sunday School

- Children's Messages
- Each Sunday, our worship celebration includes a special time for the children to come forward and receive a brief lesson about God's love in Jesus Christ.
Mission:
- United Methodist Women
- Our church has two "UMW" circles. One circle, which has been meeting for many years and is steeped in tradition, convenes from 2 to 4 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. A newer group, the Martha Circle, meets during evening hours. Pam Harris is the UMW President.
- Jackson Area Ministries
- In support of this southern Ohio-based program, we make regular deliveries of much-needed clothing. We also provided more than $4,500 worth of seeds to this ministry last year. Ron Miller is the Coordinator.
- Community Pregnancy Center
- Church members participate in the "Walk for Life" fundraiser each spring, in support of the Community Pregnancy Center in Middletown. Union Chapel observes "Sanctity of Human Life Sunday" each January in remembrance of the tragic U.S. Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in 1973.
- Miscellaneous
- Union Chapel is committed to providing and serving a meal once yearly for the St. Paul's UMC Tuesday lunch program in Dayton's inner-city. Church members also donate food on a regular basis to the Hope House ministry in Middletown. Those are just two of many mission-minded projects this church has taken on, in addition to financially supporting denominational missions.
Special Ministries:
- The 4-F Group
- The four "F"s stand for Food, Fun, Friends and Fellowship, all of which abound in this senior citizens group. Started in 1975, the original group of 12 involved only Union Chapel, but over time the organization has grown to include members of other churches and also other Christian denominations. Today the 4-F membership comes from a wide-ranging geographic area, stretching from Farmersville to Springboro, from Dayton to Hamilton -- and everywhere in between. Meetings are the
third Thursday of each month for lunch, prayer, praise and fun. Dues are $1 per year. The 4-Fs take occasional group trips, including one-day outings. The group is led by Peggy Keister and Alberta Derrough.

4-F Luncheon/Meeting
- Union Chapel Online
- A rapidly-expanding electronic subculture within our church community, the "Union Chappies" include church members, friends and extended family linked together by regular e-mails with the latest information on prayer needs and church activities, along with various news, humor and inspirational items. This web site proudly takes its name from its progenitor!
- Community groups
- T.O.P.S. group meets weekly at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
