Asked to comment on the event, Vivian Matthews, district UMW president, was enthusiastic. "The word is awesomeThe presenters were outstanding! The hospitality was great! The attendance fantastic ! It was historical , well attended and the participants were very diverse. The UMW out numbered the UMN. Times passed so quickly because all of the presenters were so informed and well prepared. We are hoping local units will partner together and continue with additional workshops. The resources the best! We had three break out sessions. (One was presented in Spanish (2) Information covering  Senior citizens and (3) Statistics reported on a daily bases. Lots of resources were given on whom and how to contact services for help."

It was good to have the participation of Chicago Northwestern District Superintendant, James Preston and CNW Lay Leader, Gerald Hayes.
