Vice President
We welcome Judith Siaba to our Conference Mission Team. This is her first year as Conference Vice-President but Judith is no stranger as she served the Northern Illinois Conference as Conference Secretary of Global Ministries, has served as a Director or Women's Division,and Nominations chairperson of the North Central Jurisdiction Core planning group 1984-88. In addition, her husband, Fernando Siaba, is a UM pastor serving at Humboldt Park UMC and Judith is employed as administrative assistant to Martin Lee in the conference offices at 77 W Washington, downtown Chicago.
Judith visited Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam and Cambodia as a Women's Division director and vice president of Christian Social Responsibility. She promises to bring us a global understanding of issues of poverty and racism.
